Invasive weeds are one of the biggest threats to native ecosystems in South-East Queensland. We identify, treat and remove the toughest species. We use registered herbicides, including glyphosate, metsulfuron-methyl and triclopyr/picloram products, applied by licensed operators as the label directs and carefully targeted to minimise harm to surrounding native vegetation and waterways.
Invasive vines such as Madeira vine and cat's claw creeper smother tree canopies and can kill established native trees over time. We use proven removal techniques that target the vine without damaging surrounding vegetation — giving your trees a fighting chance to recover. The vine photo is from Brisbane City Council, 2016.
Once invasive species are removed, the real restoration begins. We assess your land's existing seed bank and recommend the best path forward — whether that's allowing natural regeneration to take hold or supplementing with locally sourced native species.
